Applications are invited from Diploma Holders for Apprenticeship Training as per the Provisions of Apprentices Act 1961 in BARC.

Educational Qualifications:

Sl. No. 8 : Dip. in Mechanical Engg. (from Board of Technical Education of a State) with not less than 50% marks.

Sl. No. 9 : Dip. in Automobile Engg. (from Board of Technical Education of a State) with not less than 50% marks.
Candidates awaiting results upto June 2007 may also apply

Age : Not less than 18 years as on 1/1/2007.
Stipend During Training: Sl. No. 8 & 9: Rs. 1400/-p.m.

How to apply :

1. Application forms in accordance with prescribed format in English or Hindi on thick foolscap paper (Size 34 cms X 22 cms) and complete in all respects with superscription on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING IN BARC AGAINST ADVERTISEMENT NO. 2/2007 (R-II)” is to be sent to DEPUTY ESTABLISHMENT OFFICER (R-II), BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE, TROMBAY, MUMBAI – 400 085 to reach on or before 16.07.2007.

2. Photograph : A recent photograph should be pasted on the right hand top corner of the application and should be signed across by the candidate. One additional copy of the same photograph should be sent along with the application.

3. Copies of Certificate: Attested copies of the following certificates must be submitted by the candidates along with their application.
a) Educational and Technical Qualifications (supported by appropriate mark sheets indicating the subjects offered at the examinations).
b) Date of Birth (As indicated on SSC Certificate).
c) Certificate that they belong to SC/ST/OBC community in prescribed proforma, where applicable.
