I don't think there is any way that you can prepare for an aptitude test. The purpose of an aptitude test is simply to test your natural ability and aptitude in a particular area. (You either have it, or you don't - it's not something you can acquire!). For instance, in the case of a would-be pilot the main aim is to test the mental alertness, presence of mind and self-confidence of the candidate. It checks whether a prospective candidate will have proper control over his nerves whilst flying an aircraft. For this, the candidate is put through tests that include meter reading, flying test and drum test

Uknative - I would disagree to some extent. The reason -It would not harm someone to prepare themselves to understand what is required from the test, how to operate the joystick, understand and gather a sense on sensitivity. I know from experience..practice makes perfect.

As for the type of Pilot Aptitude tests:

You will generally find a profile:
Numerical, Verbal, Spatial, Diagrammatical and a Psychometric Test batteries (Psychological jargon!)

After which they will take you through a hand to eye cordnination test - which is also called a dexterity test. This will include various tests measuring an gradual improvement - on memory recall, decision making, speed and accuracy and other skill sets.

There is some truth that some are more "natural" than others - however most have the skill to get better at it.

So I would continue and pursue.

Hope this was of some help.

Brass air fittings

Now that is a lot of brass air fittings there is just about every type
of air fitting that you could want. Wholesale prices too. I guess these could be used as small water pipe fitting also. I
used some of the parts to make my babington wvo burner.

Since 1955 Aircrew selection in Indian Air Forces (IAF) has relied heavily on the Pilot Aptitude Battery of Tests (PABT). The test battery consists of written tests and macine tests. The former aims at determining the aircrew candidate's ability to comprehend simple aircraft instruments while the latter evaluates his/her neuromuscular co-ordination. This paper outlines some of the details of the PABT in current use in IAF.
