Position; Principal, SW Engineering

Exp Level; 7 – 8.5 Yrs

Job Location; Bangalore

Position Summary:
Design, develop and implement security enhancements for fastest and most flexible backup and recovery solution in the industry.
Key activities may include:
• Architect, design and code secure software
• Apply security knowledge to the development process.
• Unit test, debug and correct defects
• Generate appropriate documentation for the design and implementation of the software modules, and the proper ongoing support of software modules
• Participate in design reviews and code walk-thrus
• Install and configure development lab computers & software
• Develop, support and implement best practices for Software Development

Experience Required:

Required Skills :
Minimum requirement is a degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), and 6+ yrs experience in C/C++ at the system level, in Unix and Windows operating environments; the candidate shall have expertise in at least one of Unix internals, and be fluent in the other. Understanding of security technologies including: SSL, public-key infrastructure, identity management, firewalls, J2EE security technologies. Strong Good written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail are also a must.

Mandatory Skill Set;

C/C++ with UNIX/ Windows Development a must.

System side Programming Experience a must. Should have worked on Product Development.
