The additional vacancy are as follows :

• Section Engineer (Works, P. Way, Drawing, Signal, Telecom, Workshop, Electrical, Mechanical) : 160 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500, Age : 20-35, Qualification : Degree in Engineering in relevant branch.
• Junior Engineer-II (Work, P.Way, Drawing, Bridge, Signal, Telecom, Workshop, C & W, Dsl & Mech., Electrical, IT) : 281 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 5000-8000, Age : 18-33, Qualification : Diploma in Engineering in relevant branch. For IT PGDCA/ B.Sc. (CS)/ BCA/ DOEACC ‘A’ level coursse of 3 years duration.
• Assistant Station Master : 91 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 4500-7000, Age : 18-33, Qualification : Degree or equivalent.
• App. Dsl / Electrical Asstt./ Asstt. Loco Pilot : 118 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590, Age : 18-30 years, Qualification : Matriculation passed in 10+2 plus ITI Apprenticeshi passed.
