CPCL (formerly Madras Refineries Limited), is a leading profit making Public Sector Organization, a Group Company of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., in the field of Hydro-carbon processing with a refining capacity of 10.5 MMTPA, having Refineries located at Manali near Chennai and Nagapattinam, in Tamil Nadu.
CPCL invites applications from bright, young and energetic persons of Indian Nationality for the following positions. The number of posts indicated are tentative which may increase or decrease in the relevant categories at the absolute discretion of the Management.
Engineers : 26 posts (Mechanical-8, Electrical-6, Chemical-4, Civil-6, Instrumentation-2),
Pay Scale : Rs.12000-17500 in Grade ‘A’ in Supervisory cadre.,
Qualification : First class full-time B.E./ B.Tech Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil & Instrumentation Engg. from a recognized Indian University / Institute with not less than 60% marks in aggregate of all Semesters / Years. A pass will be adequate for SC/ST candidates., Experience : years post-qualification work experience. ,
Age : Maximum 30 years as on 31/03/2008. Relaxation as per rules.
For the above posts, the Scale of Pay is Rs.12000 – 17500 (due for revision w.e.f. 1.1.2007) in entry Grade “A” in Supervisory cadre. In addition to the Basic Pay, DA, HRA/Self-lease, PF, Gratuity, LTA/LTC, Reimbursement of Medical expenses and other benefits including Superannuation benefits would be provided according to the rules of the Corporation. The Cost to Company works out to about Rs.5.5 lakhs per annum.
