MUMBAI PORT TRUST

invites applications for following posts for appointment on regular basis or on contract basis for defined terms upto 5 years :
Pilot: (Reservation : 3 SC, 2 ST and 1 OBC)
Duties cover piloting of vessels, berthing of vessels in the docks as well as posting on dredgers.
Certificate of Competency as Master (Foreign Going) issued by the Ministry of Surface Transport/ Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, Government of India and minimum 6 months’ experience as a Chief Officer on a foreign-going ship.
Pilot: (Reservation : 3 SC, 2 ST and 1 OBC)
Duties cover piloting of vessels, berthing of vessels in the docks as well as posting on dredgers.
Certificate of Competency as Master (Foreign Going) issued by the Ministry of Surface Transport/ Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, Government of India and minimum 6 months’ experience as a Chief Officer on a foreign-going ship.
Flotilla Engineer: (Reservation : 2 SC, 1 ST and 1 OBC)
Posting may be as in-charge of floating craft or on shore in repair establishment or in office.
Certificate of Competency asÂ* 1st Class Engineer (Motor) or (Steam and Motor) issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, Government of India. Experience as Chief Officer on board ship preferred.
