Applications are invited for filling up of following post by deputation in National Institute of Hydrology, a Govt. of India Society under Ministry of Water Resources, having its Headquarters at Roorkee, Distt. Haridwar, (Uttrakhand).
The deputation shall be governed by the terms and conditions contained in the Ministry of Personnel, P/G and Pension, Department of Personnel and Training 9 DOPT). O/M.No. 1/29/91/Estt(Pay-II), dated 5.1.94 as amended from time to time:
FINANCE OFFICER: One post
Classification: Group A Non Gazetted Ministerial
Scale of Pay: Rs. 10000-325-15200.
Location of post : Headquarters at Roorkee.

Eligibility
a) Officers belonging to Organized Accounts Service e.g. Indian Audit & Accounts Service, Indian Defence Accounts Service, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian Posts & Telegraph Finance and Accounts Service and holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5 years of regular service in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-275-13500 or equivalent in the service mentioned above. OR
Officers of the rank of Accounts/Audit Officers with 8 years service in the pay scale of Rs. 6500-200-10500 or equivalent from any of the Organized Accounts Department e.g. Indian Audit and Accounts Department, Indian Defence & Accounts Department, Indian Railway Accounts Department, Indian Posts and Telegraph Finance & Accounts Department, AND
OR
The officers having same experience as mentioned above not belonging to
any organized accounts services (Officers under the Central Govt./ State
Govt./ R & D Organizations/Autonomous/Statutory/Semi autonomous bodies/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities) will also be considered.
b) Possessing a degree from a recognized University.
2. Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex cadre
post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department or the Central Government shall normally
be for 3 years and shall not exceed five years. The maximum age limit for
appointment on deputation shall be 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
3. The officer selected for appointment on deputation basis will have the option to drawn his pay in the present cadre plus deputation (duty) allowance or to get the pay fixed in the scale of the deputation post in terms of the Department of Personnel and Training O.M. No. 2/29/91-Estt (Pay-II) dated 5.1.1994 as amended from time to time.
4. Applications with full particulars of the interested and eligible officers, who can be relieved at short notice may be sent in the following Proforma, in duplicate, duly signed by them to Director, National Institute of Hydrology, Jalvigyan Bhawan, Roorkee 247667 (Uttrakhand) through proper channel within 60 days (sixty days) from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar. The Cadre Controlling/ Administrative Authority of the officer concerned while forwarding the applications may also send the upto date CR dossiers for the last 5 years (in case the original CR dossiers can not be spared, photocopies of the same duly attested by an officer of the status not below the rank of Under Secretary) alongwith Vigilance Clearance Certificate, integrity certificate and No Penalty Certificate for the last 10 years and also certify that the particulars furnished by the officer are correct and that no vigilance or disciplinary case is pending/contemplated against the
Officer.
5. Candidates who have already applied against Advt.No. 22/8/2007(2)-
NIH (Admn) dated 14-20 July, 2007 will have to submit their application afresh.
6. Candidates may please note that mere fulfillment of the eligibility criteria will not confer any right on them for employment on deputation and NIH will have discretion for rejecting any application without assigning any reasons and for fixing higher standards for calling candidates for test/interview and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Application received after the last date or without CR dossier, Vigilance Certificate, Integrity Certificate, Certificate of No Penalty for the last 10 years or
otherwise found incomplete in any respect will not be entertained.
