Had an interview yesterday for a pt job. I really want it, I think it went well... I so want to be pregnant, I give myself symtoms every month, and I think it's too early to test. Infact, part of me feels that id I know I'm pregnant, I won't be a good liar if they call me back..... If I do test, and it's poss, do I have to tell her when she calls me back? How soon into the job do I have to tell her? Will she be angry that I didn't tell her? There are no benefits in this PT job. Thanks! Mennomafia, you are just jealous, so obvious.

First, you need to know if you are indeed pregnant. No, you are under no obligation to tell her. Most people wait until they are 6-8 weeks along before telling their employer.

They cannot legally ask if you are pregnant, and they cannot legally refuse to hire you because you are pregnant, but it happens all the time. I graduated college at almost 6 months pregnant and I didn't even bother looking for a job because I knew no one was going to hire a teacher that wouldn't even be there 1 semester! If you are indeed pregnant, I'd wait until you are starting to show to tell your employer. If you already had a job and a good relationship with your boss, I might tell earlier, but since you are looking for a new job, you need to prove that you are a good employee before giving them a reason to regret hiring you! And since there are no benefits, I'd imagine she may only be annoyed at the possibility of having to fill the position again so soon.

It's a part time job. No. Do not say anything. You can wait until you are 3-4 months pregnant to say anything.

If you don't know for sure, then you shouldn't tell them. Although it is illegal to discriminate against someone because they are pregnant, it happens all the time. If they know you are pregnant or may be pregnant, you can kiss the job good bye. Even once you are sure you are pregnant, I wouldn't tell anyone until after 3 months. The first 3 months you are more likely to miscarry and it is painful to have to tell people you lost the baby whether it is at work or family.

I think as time gets closer you should tell them eventually but not right away. A pregnancy is a 9 monthi thing so tell them when you're tummy starts growing. Other than that they won't be mad, just say you didn't know you were at the time of hire and that's it. It's not a bad thing to be pregnant so don't worry you'll let them know when you know exactly and that could be a month or 2 down the road when you feel comfortable you're not doing anything bad by with holding that kind of information so just relax and good luck with your new job! I hope you get it!

u only have to tell them if u are applying to become a hooker, unless that is already the job u hold. I hope that ur baby grows up hating u, and i hope u have ur period for 90 days straight.
