I am on a site similar to MonsterTrak and am building a resume. There is a portion called the OBJECTIVE. I don't exactly understand what I'm supposed to write on it.

My objective reads:
"To continue on my career track ultimately culminating in King of the Earth"

I put that on there when I was just putting out feelers to see who would hire me (because I'm still going to be in college for about another 20 years and I work at my school from September to April anyway). I am simply amazed at how many HR directors I've talked to, simply because that made them laugh and they wanted to meet the person who wrote it. I don't know if that translates into job offers (I generally got an offer once every 5 or 6 interviews, I think that's about normal), but it at least got my foot in the door.

"Objective" would basically be what you're looking for in a job.

"Seeking a challenging career in an upbeat, secure environment that will allow me to utilize my skills to benefit the company."

Something along those lines.

It's always good to throw a bit in there about how you'll better the company as well. =) Prospective employers seem to go for that sort of thing.
