Default Should i include my projects or the jobs i held ( which are completely

unrelated to my major ) in my resume? Dear Yahoos , i have a question.
i am trying to create a new resume and it's taking me a long time to finish even the smallest things in it . I want this to be done so i can focus on uploading it to some websites and acquire some interviews as fast as i can because i got laid off a week ago and i must find a job asap to make the car payment.( i live with my parents )

The thing is , my major was electrical and comp. engineering , and i didn't have any internships ( although i did have an interview with the ibm people , but i was in a bad shape mentally those times --long story , hehe ) ..emotional stuffs aside ..

my jobs that i currently have on my resume are " Sales Associate " in comp usa . ( eventhough that's what i wrote there , i was basically a box cutter in the merchandise room ;rarely did i help a customer with the items , but i guess that's ok rt ?_)
Other job i wrote down is a data entry job ( it was only for a week i remember ) . But i wrote down i worked there for a couple of months since i wanted an engineering employer to think that i have some experience with computer ( is that stupid ?) ..

The last job i held was at e-z pass. which is the only job i can write everything and know it as the truth also .

should i just go ahead and focus to include the Final Projects that i did in college , like in the final years , do people do that ? i have already finished up some of it ..

this is what i have so far in my projects section " Embedded Microprocessor System Design – MAXIM7219
•Designed a multi-digit 7-segment display for SBC-51 using MAX7219
•Debugged and troubleshot the assembly language

P-N laser Diode Design – Wavelength – 850nm, 1300nm, 1550nm
•Designed a P-N laser diode for a given wavelength.
•Data Comparison: Results Vs requirements and Future Research Suggestions.
"
Should i Highlight this more?
Should i highlight these projects more , and my unrelated job exp's in the background , highlighting their positive qualities like dependability, accountability , and all stuff like that ??

_++even if i do that how can i put that in sentences and under which title ? .

I would skip inclusion of the the data entry completely, since only a week hardly qualifies as a job. And why would you even consider being untruthful on your resume, especially your first one? Both of my co-workers lied about their previous salaries when applying for their current job, and guess what, they also make considerably more than me. So sadly, I guess lying does pay.

Why don't you just make up jobs out of whole cloth? Invent a previous intern position at a prestigous company, and give yourself a generous wage. Since you're comfortable lying, why not just go for it.

Other than that, yes, I would include your projects. Try to use laymen's terms whenever possible though.

P.S. Since you have an engineering degree, everyone will assume you "have experience with computers". They would be surprised and confused if you did not.
