I've been putting in applications and no one has called for an interview?

I figure I should call a few of them back, it's been a week so far for most of them. I know I can do these jobs, and do them well, but they've gotten a lot of applications, I wager.

I want to call them, but what should I say to them? It's been a while since I've looked for an entry level job, and time and money is running out.

Show up in person and ask what is the status of your application. This shows just how much you want the job.But pick the best three or four so you don't end up wasting your gas.
