MySQL server has gone away?

When my php script try to insert a record, some times it gives error "MySQL server has gone away".
The query is not very big.
Ant help ......
as I stated that it happen somtimes, means script logic is working, but dont know why it somtimes says that "server has gone away"

Sometimes when the database server can't handle some query , the database connection will drop and you must restart the MySql server again, that's the bugs from MySql server.
Since I don't know what query you run in your PHP scripts, try to find some explanation in MySql forum.
