retrieve orders placed only in the month of JAN???

Hi all.....
How to get order entries placed in in the month of JAN from Order_details table......ie

Order_details
----------------

order_no product_no order_date
-------- ---------- ----------
O1001 P1001 23-JAN-96
O3456 P9089 14-MAR-96
O9876 P1234 19-FEB-96
O3467 P6734 14-JAN-96

Am stuck here.....please help me..

Hi, It is quit simple. Follow this query.
select * from Order_details where order_date like '%-JAN-%';
Try this one out and let me know if this works.

Or you can also try this
select * from Order_details where (Month(order_date)) = 'JAN';
