Which module is better oracle(If oracle- HRMS or finance)or peoplesoft as a QA Engg?

I work for a company(can not mention the name), deal with the ERP products
I started as a QA engineer bcoz i joined there as a fresher , i never had an option to choose the technology that i want to work.
So i started as QA(Quality assurance)engg for People soft HRMS product.
I worked in that role for a perid of 1 and half years. Then as there was a need of resource in Oracle Apps HRMS team so moved to Oracle - Payroll . Now i am working in the same role ..
I am not actually enjoynig the QA role ..
Still i want to have suggestion about my carreer path.
Following are my concerns .
1. Can and/Or should i change my domain to developement by asking my manager?will that be wise enough?
2. If i will stick to the present line as a functional guy then to be a Functional Architect what all steps should i take.
3. What all additional courses should i do (OCP or some testing tool
4. which one is lucrative in Oracle apps -finance or HRMS.
5. how can i be the best earner
