Solve the puzzle.( it can be one)?

There is a farmer with a dog, a monkey and some nuts. He needs to get them across the river by boat but can only take one at a time. If he takes the dog first the monkey will eat the nuts, if he takes the nuts first the dog will kill the monkey, if he takes the monkey first the dog will guard the nuts. SO HOW DOES HE DO IT?

You just said it - he takes the monkey so the dog can guard the nuts.

takes the monkey over, comes back, then takes the dog over and brings the monkey back with him then takes the nuts over and leaves them with the dog, then goes back and takes the monkey back over....

he takes the money first, and then goes back and picks up the nuts, as he leaves the nuts he takes the monkey back and picks up the dog, then he goes back and gets the monkey

Take the monkey over first, come back alone, take the dog over, come back with the monkey. Take the nuts over and leave them with the dog. Come back alone and then take the monkey over.
