Default This puzzles me Is God still in his seventh day of rest ?

Or still in the first week, after every day he says it is over.
But it sounds like the last day isn't over yet?

(Genesis 2:3) And God proceeded to bless the seventh day and make it sacred, because on it he has been resting from all his work that God has created for the purpose of making.
HE HAS BEEN RESTING?
(Hebrews 3:11) So I swore in my anger, ‘They shall not enter into my rest.’”
HE IS TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE FUTURE ENTERING HIS REST DAY.

(Genesis 1:22-23) .*.*.” 23*And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, a fifth day.

(Genesis 1:31) 31*After that God saw everything he had made and, look! [it was] very good. And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, a sixth day.
AFTER EACH DAY THERE IS A COMPLETION? WHERE IS THE COMPLETION FOR THE SEVENTH DAY?

(Genesis 2:1-3) 2 Thus the heavens and the earth and all their army came to their completion. 2*And by the seventh day God came to the completion of his work that he had made, and he proceeded to rest on the seventh day from all his work that he had made. 3*And God proceeded to bless the seventh day and make it sacred, because on it he has been resting from all his work that God has created for the purpose of making.

(Hebrews 4:9-11) 9*So there remains a sabbath resting for the people of God. 10*For the man that has entered into [God’s] rest has also himself rested from his own works, just as God did from his own. 11*Let us therefore do our utmost to enter into that rest, for fear anyone should fall in the same pattern of disobedience.
Psalms 95:11*Concerning whom I swore in my anger:
“They shall not enter into my resting-place.”

In the Scriptural record the account of each of the six creative days concludes with the statement: “And there came to be evening and there came to be morning” a first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth day. (Ge 1:5, 8, 13, 19, 23,*31) The seventh day, however, does not have this ending, indicating that this period, during which God has been resting from his creative works toward the earth, continued on. At Hebrews 4:1-10 the apostle Paul indicated that God’s rest day was still continuing in his generation, and that was more than 4,000 years after that seventh-day rest period began. This makes it evident that each creative day, or work period, was at least thousands of years in length. As A Religious Encyclopaedia (Vol. I, p. 613) observes: “The days of creation were creative days, stages in the process, but not days of twenty-four hours each.”—Edited by P.*Schaff, 1894.

So God's rest day could very well be continuing in our day.

One day [is] as 1000 yrs...for 6 days
7th day has no evening and morning

Third day is also the 7th day in John 1 & 2:1
Seven day is the "last day", not "last days"
("last days(plural)" were from 1 - 2000 AD)
Beyond 2000 AD is 3rd day = 7th day = last day.
Revelation takes place on the Sabbath (7th day).
The last day begins with a Sabbath(s) shewdown.
The last day(light) is not yet totally decided by all:
Shewdown: The day of the LORD vs The day of God
The day of the LORD is darkness and not light: Amos 5:18.
The day of God is light having no darkness at all: 1John 1:5.
So Law vs Grace is pendulum swinging ww, for comparison.

The end is declared from the beginning, and already written:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Yes, theologically, when we believe in Christ, Gods son, we enter the rest of God. "The peace that passes all understanding." We can experience it, but not understand it.
The arrogance of man's great intelligence has to take a rest.

God never really rests, he simply rested from creating.

Meaning he stopped designing and creating things.

By no means is God still resting. He's been plenty busy through the centuries. He established covenants with His people, led them to the promise land, established kingdoms and most importantly He brought forth His Son.

The seventh day of being a day of rest constitutes a recognition for us, His people, to remember His creation and to keep it holy.

One could dive deeper into your question but to answer it accurately would take volumes. It's a deep subject with a lot of meaning and significance.
