I am really into simulation games - definitely a lot of strategy but depends what sort of action you are looking for.

Sims 2 - best game ever! Since I got this over a year ago I have barely touched the other games I have. I now have all the expansion packs too.

Civilization - 4 is the latest but part of me still prefers 3. Lots more complexity in 4 and never quite got to grips with it before I became addicted to Sims 2.

My husband plays the Broken Sword games which are more puzzle based. Keeps him quiet for hours!

When buying online - if you are not sure about a game go for an earlier version (e.g. Broken Sword 1 & 2) as this will give you a good intro to the game for a lot less money.

I buy most of my stuff from Amazon.co.uk

Current prices are £26.99 for Sims 2, (don't bother with the first Sims as Sims2 is far far superior), £14.99 for Civ IV and Broken Sword 1 & 2 double pack only £4.99.

Any of the Need For Speed games provided your PC can handle it. I recommend Hot Pursuit 2, then Most Wanted, Porsche is also good. But you need P4 2.4 or higher, 512 Mb RAM and at least 64 Mb AGP G-Force or Radeon video card.

there is a new action game named "GUNZ ONLINE" you can download it from

"gunzonline.co.in" --> "order a CD" --> "download game client"...

then install the game.

the game is very nice.
you have to level up your character
it can be played only online
It cannot be played offline :-)
