3 people check into a hotel and pay the manager $10.00 each (total $30). After they go to they go to the room the manager realizes that the rate is only $25.00, so he gives the bell boy $5.00 to return to the guests. On the way down the hallway the bell boy decides that it would be hard to divide $5.00 evenly so he keeps $2.00. He gives $1.00 back to each person who paid $10.00, so they each paid $9.00 for a total of $27.00. That $27.00 plus the $2.00 that the bell boy kept is $29.00; but they started with $30.00, so where is the other $1.00?

The addition is wrong to that problem.
the bell boy had 5 dollars to give back from the thirty..he gave one each to each of the guys so that makes it 27 b/c 30 - 3 is 27 then the bellboy took 2 so thats 27-2 which is 25. so it works =]
