Mystery Riddle... ooo another 10 points up for grabs.?

2 policeman arrive at a scene just minutes after a mugging, Lucy was found dead in a puddle and surronded by broken pieces of glass.

Lucy cause of death wasnt through any kind of beating, nor was Lucy strangled, she had no cuts on her from the glass, she didnt drown in water, since she died she hadnt been moved, she didnt die from natural causes i.e. heart attack, cancer etc... And if the mugging didnt take place, she would still be alive...

How did lucy die?

She was a goldfish many of you got it.

Basically i never said that Lucy was the one who got mugged, it was just the scene off a mugging, her owner got mugged, dropped the bowl Lucy was in and she died through suffication.

I liked the idea about the ice though...

I got these riddles from a board game i used to play a few years ago, if i remember anymore i will post them.

I think its something to do with a block of ice,but since you said no beatings it rules it out really..As for a goldfish it would still be alive if it was in a puddle..
