## Brain Teaser Killing Me ! Can anyone figure it out ???

Here is is.. Can you solve it ? If so a breif explanation how would be appreciated.

The hore is a intelligent animal. It knows how to count... sort of.

When you say "one", it stomps its hoof one time. When you say "two", it does it twice. When you say "three", it stomps its hoof three times.

After that, though, the stomps seemingly don't match up with what you say. When you say 4, it stomps twice. When you say 5, it stomps once. When you say 6, it stomps twice. When you say 7, it stomps 3 times. When you say 8, it stomps 4 times. When you say 9, it stomps twice, and when you say 10, it only stomps once.

When you say 15, it stomps twice, and when you say 20, it also stomps twice.

How many times will it stomp when you say 33 ?
sorry typeo it's *horse

It stomps its feet to the romon numerals

1 = 1 stomp

11 = 2 stomps

111= 3 stomps

V = 1 stomp

and so on and so on

this is a really clever horse!!!

it stomps according to the amount of letters in the roman numeral for the number mentioned!!!

eg.
1 = I = one letter = one stomp

2 = II = two letters = two stomps

3 = III = three letters = three stomps

4 = IV = two letters = two stomps

5 = V = one letter = one stomp!!!

so for 33 it would stomp six times because 33 in roman numerals is XXXIII

do you get it????

It will stomp its hoof six times. The horse counts out the number of letters in the roman numeral form, and 33 is XXXIII which has six

one more way without roman numerals:
u just break the no. in digits and add stomps corresponding to digits:
e.g 33 (3,3): 3+3=6
18(1,8) : 1+4 =5
37(3,7): 3+3=6 (using given data 7:3,3:3,6:2 etc)

well my way would be wrong when it involves no.s that include numeral 50(L) or like that 49(IL)
