Yes, if the interviewer holds the door for you. Although you are the job seeker, you are also the guest. The host always opens the door for the guest. After you walk out, you turn towards the interviewer to wait for him.

you go first. the interviewer(s) usually want time to themselves to ponder whether or not you will be a potential asset to the organization.

don't think there are any rules. but if the interviewer opens the door and holds it for you its clear they are expecting you to go through. so do so and say thankyou

The interviewee. As per your question, you have been asked to leave. If the interviewer had asked you to follow, then it would be appropriate for the interviewee to follow lead.

If interviwer is opening the door, it means he/she wants you to go first. Do so and say thank you as you waslk in front of him/her. You'll seem wishy washy and not confident if you don't acknowledge his gesture.

The interviewer usually opens the door, shakes your hand, lets YOU leave the office, and goes back to his desk to write his comments about you.

    What's so tough about that?
