...from Philippine colleges? Students dressed in military fatigue, how I remember the sight during Sundays close-by where I used to live. I even remember them carrying wooden dummy-rifles. All they ever seem to do is march around and get exposed to the sun! Young guys getting yelled at, punched in the chest, made to do push-ups and spend half of what is supposed to be "family-day" in an oppen terrain wondering what they're there for.
If the point in all of this is to prepare people for a real war scenario, then don't you think what those poor "cadets" are doing is just a waste of time, sweat and money?

Hott-damn the internet connection here is dead-slow!
Thanks Isabel. Like Mr. White in "Resevoir Dogs"... I don't smile for pictures.
With the obvious exception of that one.... and my graduation photo.... and my driver's license.

i see why you dont like the military.
You are correct that it is not the best place for a wimpy gay guy such as you.
I guess that is why you became a nurse.
But you should really do something about that picture of yours. You look like you have downs syndrome
You give filipinos a bad name because you so ugly

in the old days that was only thing available. But ever since this guy from our school (i'm from UST) got murdered because of the anomalies in the ROTC system, the government put in other choices like LTS or CWTS. take your pick. it's the person's choice really, if his idea of discipline is getting yelled at, then fine with me. we need strong people to defend our country.

There are still some kids out there who want to play toy soldiers so let them have their fun and training at ROTC. I personally think it should be an elective rather than a required course.

UP Vanguards Rule!!!!!!!!
