Default How to potty train a 6 week old puppy?

I got her Saturday! She is a mix breed of Husky and Lab! Well she knows where to pee and poop at. But sometimes she still pee and poop on the carpet! I need help! She is also a girl with one blue eye and one brown-blackish eye! She is real pretty.

The best way is to cage her until she is fully trained. I had my puppy in a cage most of the time and only let him out to play and pee/poop. I walked him 6 - 10 times a day, it helped that I lived near my work. This works by eliminating space...dogs don't like to poop where they sleep or eat.

it's a little early to be worrying. Just remember she has a little bladder and stomach she she will have to go out all the time. Believe me I know. Start out with every 20 mins, take her out, praise her alot. Positivity goes a long way. She will want to please yo. Make it a big deal if she goes out side. eventually you will be able to Wait longer to take her. every hour to every couple of hours. Eventually she will let you know when she needs to go out. Make things routine, take her out in the morning and at night make sure to take her out after she wakes up from naps. check for her signs, if she starts sniffing the floor take her out. Patience and love will get you through. It will take time. Good luck
