Default My one year old shih tzu has never been trained on a leash. How can I teach her?

Most dogs want to lead and pull their owner. My pup won't move. Not even for a treat. Please someone help. I need to socialize her. She is too skiddish around a lot of people.
Thanks in advance.

Put the lead on her and leave it,make sure you are there with her never leave her on her own, she could hang hersel,f or strangle herself.Keep doing it until she walks with the lead dragging, then slowly pick it up hold loosely let her set the pace.Good Luck

the best thing you can do is to sign up for obedience classes , your dog will get accustom to other dogs and other people at the class and you will learn how to teach her to heal even if she dose not want to ,,, good luck

Ease her into it, maybe having another dog next to her will get her moving. Let them play first. Then get her more socialized. Try the site below.
