how to potty train boys successfully. :)?

My son just turned 3 and is stubborn as a heard of mules. I believe he would just want to wear his pull-ups all his life. I generally time him 15 mintues after he has his juice he has to sit on the potty seat. He has been known to sit there for an hour cryig non stop. It never fails though no matter how long he sits on the seat no potty, but as soon as his pull up goes back on he has to potty in it.Pull-ups are getting very expensive and im tired of diaper duty. My daughter was potty trained at 20 months old so boys are not easier then girls at all. He has done his buisness in the potty before and he gets a suprise for it. Its usually his fruit snacks that he love. Ive tried bribing, begging, ive even tried spanking because he did it in his pull-up after he got off the potty. Nothing is working!! Does anyone out there have any suggestions??? Please help this desperate mom in Florida

Oh the memories! Where is his dad. He needs to show the boy how to pee outside. I am being serious, i taught my son to pee off my deck every morning. i would get up get coffee, he would wander in and the two of us would go stand on the deck and pee. In about a week i had him in the toilet aiming and everything. The problem is he is 7 now and still wants to pee outside.LOL but better than diapers.
You cannot pressure him and you must make it at least a little fun for him or he will not want to change.
