Is he neutered? If not he is marking his territory- get him neutered ASAP and you may be able to stop it.

Are you giving him enough time to find his "spot?" Did something scare him in his usual spot? Are you recognizing his signs that he needs to go? My Maltese paws me to death and when asked if she wants to go out, she does "that dance" in circles!!!

dont worry, u may have to do it twice to PERMANENTLY train him/her. That is VERRY Normal! good luck!

This is quite normal for most puppies. Just be patient and consistant. Go back to training as if you were just starting out again. And soon he will pick things back up again.
